The Helicopter Museum is the largest dedicated Helicopter Collection in the World with over 100 helicopters on display in an all weather undercover hangar.Exhibits include two of the Queen's Royal Flight helicopters, the current world speed record holder G-LYNX, a Vietnam Veteran Huey and a Russian Hind Gun Ship.
Bruton Museum is nestled on the High Street, housed in the Dovecote Building just behind the Community Office. Founded in1989, it tells the story of Bruton’s colourful history and is anessential destination whether you are a visitor to Bruton or live inthe town.
Discover the fascinating history of the flatner the origins of which date back to before the Viking invasion. The story is celebrated through photographs, full size displays and local fishing paraphernalia. There is a collection of scale models on the upper deck, and activities for children to enjoy.
Watchet Market House Museum houses a fine collection of local artefacts, fossils and marine paintings. The town’s rich maritime history features in many of the exhibits. With visitor numbers averaging 30,000 per season, this small Museum is a ‘not to miss’ attraction.

The Gauge Museum can be found at Bishops Lydeard, one end of Britain’s longest independent heritage railway. The newly re-furbished Gauge Museum combines a wide collection of original objects from the railway’s past, with a range of interactive exhibits to help visitors experience and explore some of the fascinating history of our line.
