19th September- 4th October 2020This autumn, Somerset Open Studios goes online with an exciting new look as well as a special event programme featuring artists’ films, podcasts, interviews and live streaming. An enhanced digital guide will give audiences the opportunity to visit artists’ work spaces with links to artists’ pages on the Somerset Art Works website as well as to their own social media channels and websites.
Open-Up is a brand new series of outdoor artworks commissioned by Hestercombe Contemporary Art Gallery in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Arborealists are a group of professional artists, from across southern England, who share the rich and versatile subject of the tree. Over the past two years they have been visiting ancient woodland sites on Exmoor and Dartmoor to produce works in response to the landscape. More than 50 artworks will be on display.
