Visit Somerset is dedicated to promoting Somerset as a holiday destination for visitors from the UK and around the world, offering key information on how to get to Somerset, where to stay, what to do in Somerset, and how to get around once you’re here.

Who owns Visit Somerset?

Visit Somerset is owned and operated by the Somerset Tourism Association, a Community Interest Company run by private sector companies for the benefit of visitors, local tourism businesses and their customers.

What do we manage?

We manage the Visit Somerset brand, website, visitor guide, eBook, photo library, social media and all other marketing communications. We organise trade fairs, publicity campaigns, social media presence, print materials and e-newsletters, seminars and familiarisation tours.

Who do we work with?

We work closely with Visit England, Visit Britain, County and District councils, MPs, MEPs, Into Somerset, our two local LEPs, transport providers, and other national and local groups to make sure our information is always of the highest value to visitors. By working extensively with local, national and international press, we strive to give Somerset the greatest media exposure possible. We also use links with local and national government to put Somerset at the forefront of politicians’ minds.
