Golf In Somerset

Golf in Somerset

Lets T off !

The incredibly varied geography of Somerset means it is possible to enjoy a range of different courses in one stay. There are more than 40 Golf Clubs in Somerset and they range from the relatively flat where the major challenges are the water features to the wildly steep with spectacular views. Some are minutes from the motorway while others are tucked away in the foothills of protected landscapes.
Some of our Golf Clubs are on long established courses while others are still maturing. Some are links courses while others are based in parkland. Some have hosted championships while others make the perfect place to learn. There is a course in the shadow of a castle, one with views of Glastonbury Tor and others looking out across the Bristol Channel.
Among the ‘must play’ courses in the region are Burnham and Berrow; Enmore and Clevedon. Minehead, the oldest in Somerset has views of Exmoor National Park while one of the newest, Oake Manor, has its own natural trout stream. Whatever style of course appeals and whatever standard of golf you play, you can be assured of superb surroundings when you play in Somerset.
