Join us on Thursday 25th of April for our 1st Wine Dinner of the Year in partnership with Saint Clair Estate & Hallgarten Wines. Laura Young from Saint Clair Estate will be introducing the wines that we have paired with a menu created by The Castle’s Executive Chef Andrew Swann featuring the best seasonal produce. Enjoy canapés in our Drawing Room at 7pm, followed by 4 courses with matched wines in the Garden & Wisteria Rooms for just £79 per person. Saint Clair Family Estate was established by Neal and Judy Ibbotson, and it is one of New Zealand’s leading wine companies with an exceptional quality record. They were pioneers in the Marlborough wine industry, first planting vineyards in the valley in 1978 and then establishing Saint Clair Family Estate in 1994. Since 1994, when wines from the first vintage all won medals including gold, the name Saint Clair has been synonymous with quality and its award-winning record continues today. This is a sentiment shared by Bob Campbell MW, who says “Saint Clair now makes the country’s and perhaps the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc” Guests will be seated together on sharing tables, please let us know if you wish to be seated alongside any other attendees.
