With Somerset’s legacy of fresh, abundant local ingredients, it’s no surprise the county is home to national and world-famous produce. Somerset’s butchery offering doesn’t disappoint, offering a superb range of locally reared meat, poultry and game. Meanwhile, dairy herds grazing in the county’s rich pastures produce the creamy milk perfect for cheese making - including the county’s signature cheddar cheeses, named after the Somerset village it was founded in. Somerset is one of the biggest cider counties in the UK and this much-loved drink can be found in many variations throughout the county. With so much on offer, it’s not hard to find somewhere to sample authentic Somerset flavours.

The Beachcomber is a fantastic pub, restaurant and free entertainment venue in Brean. There is a family restaurant, Cabaret Bar and children's entertainment room.

A favourite watering hole in the Bristol pub scene, The Bell is located at the bottom of Stokes Croft in central Bristol. This pub is full of character like its local area, with a graffiti mural along the outside wall, and some DJ decks in the corner for Friday and Saturday nights.
The Bower Inn is a beautiful 18th century building surrounded by a picturesque cottage garden on the outskirts of Bridgwater. Set on the edge of the Somerset Levels it’s within easy access from the M5 Motorway and offers a quality country pub, 16-room hotel and 42-seater restaurant.
