We’re a couple who live locally, love the town and the river, love the building that we’re in and have designed and created not just a bakery and canteen but also a communal hub where locals and visitors alike can enjoy a quick coffee or leisurely afternoon tea and cake or even an early supper.

We work as a small team making quality foods using as much local and organic ingredients as possible. The cider is Perrys near Ilminster, the beer is Fine Tuned in Somerton, and we even have wines from Smith and Evans just up the road for which we helped to pick the grapes ourselves last year!

We are a collection point for veg boxes from Plotgate and we have our own giant one every week. All our friends have helped with building the furniture, painting and decorating and turn it in to the lovely space it now is. We have added a new table outside overlooking the river and just need to build some more benches for them.

Great food, including sourdough breads and pastries, prepared and produced in front of you with more than an eye on our ecological and environmental footprint. Local beers, ciders and even wines on sale.
 

Facilities 

Bakery and canteen all on ground floor with tables inside and out. Help-yourself tap-water. Fully licensed. Vegetarian and vegan options. Wheelchair, child and dog friendly with disabled loo and baby-changing area.
