To The Trees

Join Matt, a local nature enthusiast and musician, for a walking experience around the Glastonbury countryside, guided by the trees. A unique and inspiring walking Tor that explores some of the intimate nooks and crannies of Glastontonbury, while also orientating visitors towards the Town’s main attractions, including the Tor and natural Springs.

During the walk, we’ll explore some intimate natural spaces, off the beaten tracks. Matt will share his knowledge of the trees, talk about his relationship with nature, and explain the unique folklore that surrounds the town. We will take time to relax in nature and Matt will share his music and poetry inspired by the Avalon landscape and its trees.

This is a relaxing, informative and inspiring walking experience that highlights the beautiful nature of Glastonbury and is accompanied by original music and seasonal poetry dedicated to the trees themselves.

Here are some positive words from a recent walker:

“We had such a wonderful tour with Matt! He was so informative about the local trees, showing us a great variety. He was also very knowledgeable about the local area and folklore that surrounds it which was fascinating to hear. Lovely touch to listen to some music too - we would highly recommend. It was the highlight of our trip to Glastonbury!”
