The Bower Inn is a beautiful 18th century building surrounded by a picturesque cottage garden on the outskirts of Bridgwater. Set on the edge of the Somerset Levels it’s within easy access from the M5 Motorway and offers a quality country pub, 16-room hotel and 42-seater restaurant.

To the rear, our Garden Room doubles as a second restaurant or function room, and the garden houses the Bower Inn’s function marquee which can accommodate up to 140 people for weddings, celebrations and events.

Our restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, with all dishes made to order using local fresh ingredients delivered daily, all served alongside some great local beers and ciders to match. All our rooms are warm and inviting and include a mix of Twin and Double rooms, some of which with stand-alone bathtubs, and all come with matki rain showers.
