Description

The Little Box Room is the working studio and display space of Robert Lee, an artist currently working in Frome, Somerset. The studio is sometimes open to visitors when it may also be shared with other artists.

Open on Wednesday and Saturday Markets and Frome Independent Market Sundays from 11.00 to 3.00, and at other times by request.

Robert makes Assemblage Art using ‘found’ boxes and objects, mostly in response to texts and to a sense of place and event.

He has pieces in private collections abroad as well as in the UK. and has exhibited in joint and group shows locally - in Bath, Freshford, and Frome, as well as in London.

These works are put together in the Little Box Room, where both completed boxes and works in progress are on display.

You are welcome to view these pieces when the studio is open - usually between the hours of 11.00 am to 3.00 pm, or at other times by arrangement.
