Fleet Air Arm Museum
This year make sure to set your sights on the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Ilchester and see where time flies.
This must-see attraction has four large exhibition halls each containing dozens of incredible aircraft which tell the rich history of naval aviation. Grab your wingman and step inside the first British Concorde, experience the thrills of a working flight deck, and get up close to a wide range of rare and historical aircraft.
This year the museum is celebrating its 60th birthday and there is something for everyone to enjoy. Step aboard their Carrier Experience where you can discover life at sea and hear the amazing stories of people who served on board. Get hands on with interactive exhibits or take part in family activities. The museum really is the perfect all-weather venue that you can visit anytime of year for a unique and unforgettable experience.
As well as a variety of exciting aircraft the museum also has free car parking, a modern café serving a variety of food and its own outdoor playpark. Also tickets provide access for a full year, meaning that you can return as many times as you like for no extra cost.
