Taunton School is a co-educational independent school serving pupils aged 13 to 18. The campus also includes Taunton School International and Taunton School International Middle School for overseas students; Taunton Preparatory School (aged 7 to 13); Taunton Pre-Prep School (aged 4 to 7); and Taunton Nursery (aged 0 to 4).

Set in a beautiful 56-acre site, Taunton School is a lively community, which aims to challenge, nurture and inspire young people to succeed in a global community.

Taunton School consists of a caring Nursery and Pre-Preparatory School, inspiring Preparatory School and an innovative Senior School and International School.

The campus includes a brand new £3.6 million Dining Hall, extensive sports fields, two swimming pools, specific music, art and D&T departments and a 19^th century Grade II listed Chapel.

A new sixth form centre and library will be completed this year and plans are underway for a £20million state-of-the-art international school and enhanced sports facilities. 

The school offers a supportive boarding environment for children from 7 to 18 years. With close friends at hand, boarders have the opportunity to develop life skills within a relaxed but controlled atmosphere.

As a non-selective school, Taunton School has achieved consistently excellent GCSE results and some of the most exceptional A-level and International Baccalaureate results in South West England. Approximately 96% of all sixth form leavers take up university or college places and approximately three or four students are accepted into Oxbridge each year.

Taunton School is one of the only schools in the UK to offer four unique Sixth Form pathways: the popular IB Diploma, A-levels, Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Business and in Sport & Exercise Science, as well as Pre-foundation and Foundation courses in Business.
