Watchet Visitor Centre is at the top end of Harbour Road carpark, on the opposite side of the WSR rail line to Watchet Railway Station. The building is attached to the Boat Museum and is also home to Watchet Town Council.
Our team is ready to help you with your enquires. We can help you with suggestions for activities for children, walks in the area, dog friendly places to go and great places for you to eat. We organise guided history walks, sea shanty singing walks and fossil walks. These are available throughout the season and can be found on our event pages at www.lovewatchet.co.uk . We also have event calendars and can help you find accommodation if necessary.
The visitor centre stocks a local maps, walking guides, books and information leaflets to help make the most of your stay. The gift shop has a wide selection of locally written books, giftware and a selection of gifts for children.
The Visitor Centre and Boat Museum are linked and this enables us to use the building for events and activities in the evenings. Check our website for events such as Shanty Nights, Comedy Performances and Live Music Performances.
We pride ourselves on being the home for all information in Watchet. If we don’t have a leaflet about it, our team are more than willing to find out the information for you. Every one is welcome here in Watchet!
