Mendip Activity Memories (beginners) two night

This two day excursion is for those attracted to the action and discovery of the Mendip Hills but who have little or no experience.
Your first night is in the attractive Mendip village of Priddy, full of history. There are many opportunities for evening or early morning walks so that you can start to bond with the remarkable surroundings.
The Cheddar Camping and Caravanning Club Site is open to non-members and you can buy supplies from the onsite shop or venture to the Queen Victoria Inn nearby for an evening out.
Wild Wookey Caving is an ideal way to dip your toe into the water. Wild Wookey is a multi-award-winning, adventure caving experience designed for people who have an active lifestyle and who love action, confined spaces, heights, climbing, crawling and more!
You can lunch either on site at Wookey Hole or venture to the Wookey Hole Inn nearby.
An easy cycle is suggested for the afternoon, having checked in at Cheddar Bikes, along the Strawberry Line which is the route of a former railway. The route from Cheddar out to Axbridge, Winscombe and Sandford is gentle and easy.
At Cheddar is your overnight accommodation at the natural and fun Petruth Paddocks, where you are promised ‘Free Range Camping’. You can sit around your own camp fire and order marshmallows!
Day two starts at the Mendip Activity Centre at Sandford who offer a range of exciting experiences for all levels, from abseiling to frisbee golf or low ropes.
You can grab lunch on site or try the nearby Woodborough Inn.
After lunch a spot of beginners climbing at Burrington Combe will give you that easy taster of what future activities you can undertake here in the Mendip Hills. Safe travels!
