Adrenalin Weekender (intermediate) two night

If you are at work and needing to break out for the weekend and burn some energy, then our Adrenaline Weekender tour in and around the stunning Mendip Hills for those with intermediate experience of outdoor activities is just the package for you and your friends.
It is ideal for many who don’t want to book time off but need to refresh – at just over two hours from London and Midlands you can be close to nature and the rugged outdoors on a Friday night having escaped from work.
We start at Bucklegrove Holiday Park where you can choose from camping and touring, woodland cabins or luxury lodges with hot tubs. The Lodge Bar, Grill and Restaurant is perfect for unwinding on site or if you fancy a trip to the pub then the Rodney Stoke Inn is a short walk.
For the first morning, you have a choice of biking – venture to Cheddar Bikes for hire and routes, alternatively head over to Yatton and check out Strawberry Line and Cycles, making use of the former railway track and other routes.
More route options to check out are Rowberrow Warren Mountain biking route, or drop in at Dolebury Warren.
If you want to grab some lunch then check out https://thestarsomerset.com on the A38 near Shipham.
Afternoon is the time to further your climbing skills at Burrington Combe and experience the raw nature of the Mendip hills at Rock Outdoors.
A contrast for accommodation on your second night is Stonebridge Farm Caravan Park where you can buy local produce in their shop. Stop en route or return to the Lamb Inn at Axbridge for a great meal out.
Day two allows the chance of more cycling, this time the route along the Mendip Hills from Kings Wood to Crooks Peak. Stunning views and so uplifting. Stop at the Lamb Inn at Axbridge if you need a lunch break on your ride back into Cheddar for an afternoon of more rock climbing at Cheddar Gorge and Caves Rocksport.
You can be back home mid-evening in time to relax those muscles for the week ahead.
