Now, this is a Brothers recipe if ever we did see one. You’re probably thinking how on earth have they combined Marshmallow cider and butternut squash into a great-tasting soup. But trust us – they did!Sweet, spicy, and warming from the inside out this is a must-try for the adventurous cooks out there. The Marshmallow cider and butternut squash create a moreish sweetness to the soup with the chilli knocking it back and bringing some heat. Grab a spoon and tuck in!
• In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. • Brown chicken thighs on both sides; sprinkle with salt and pepper. • Remove from pan. • Add onion to same skillet; cook and stir over medium heat 2-3 minutes or until softened. • Stir in barbecue sauce, honey and Toffee Apple; increase heat to medium-high. • Cook 1 minute, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. • Add chicken and apples to slow cooker, pour over Toffee Apple mixture. • Cover and cook on low 3.5 hours until chicken is tender. • Serve with steamed veg. Head over to the Brothers Cider Website for the ingredients list and more! https://brotherscider.co.uk/blogs/recipes/marshmallow-cider-butternut-squash-soup
