Clarks Village is set to bring global activewear brand Sweaty Betty to its premium shopping outlet.
The new Sweaty Betty store will open its doors at Somerset’s Clarks Village tomorrow, Friday 10th February.
The 1,332 sq ft store is located in the outlet’s Apple Court, close to Salt Rock and White Stuff, and showcases the brand’s leggings, sports bras, tops, footwear, bags and fitness equipment, all at exclusive-to-outlet prices.
British-born Sweaty Betty was founded in 1998 by Tamara Hill-Norton who wanted to shake-up what she saw was a “bleak landscape” for women’s activewear. Today, Sweaty Betty has more than 150 stores worldwide, and is renowned for its range of high-end women’s activewear and leisurewear, particularly its iconic Power Leggings.
Sweaty Betty joins a coveted mix of more than 90 designer and high street brands at Clarks Village, all offering up to 60% off RRP. Its latest openings include British homeware brand Emma Bridgewater and the world-renowned Calvin Klein fashion brand.
Chris Davis, Centre Director of Clarks Village, commented: “Sweaty Betty is a fantastic addition to Clarks Village. We know how excited our guests will be to welcome the new store, whether they’re already familiar with the brand or discovering it for the first time. As our first opening of 2023, we’re certainly starting the year off in style and there will be more for guests to look forward to in the year ahead.”
Amber Balcombe, Head of UK Retail, Sweaty Betty said: “Clarks Village, Street is a popular shopping destination in Somerset, which exudes a friendly family atmosphere with many activities for visitors to enjoy. We opened 12 new locations last year and this new store forms part of a wider expansion in the UK. We hope our store empowers a new group of women through fitness and beyond.”
