The Grand Pier’s Grinch Brings Festive Cheer to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children

21 Dec 2023

Accompanied by representatives from The Grand Pier, the Grinch spent quality time with each and every child, creating memorable moments that will surely be cherished by both the young patients and their families.

To amplify their visit, The Grand Pier donated an impressive 170 gifts to Bristol Children's Hospital, symbolising the 170 hospital beds within the building. The gifts, ranging from monster trucks and cuddly toys to engaging board games and action figures, were carefully selected to bring joy and entertainment to children of all ages.

This gift-giving initiative was made possible through the generous funding and support of the Axentis Michael Charity Trust, an organisation committed to making a positive impact in the local community. The trust's donation aimed to elevate the festive experience for young patients at Bristol Children's Hospital.

Kerry Michael, Trustee and owner of The Grand Pier, expressed the importance of giving back to the community, especially during the festive season. "The Grand Pier is committed to spreading joy and happiness, and what better way to do so than by bringing the magic of the season to the children at Bristol Children's Hospital” said Kerry Michael.
