LCC Live, organisers of Live in Somerset, are excited to announce that noughties pop queen Sophie Ellis-Bextor will be joining the line-up on Saturday 26th of August at Vivary Park in Taunton.
Sophie Ellis-Bextor shot to fame as the vocalist on Italian DJ Spillers track, Groovejet, released back in 2000 which entered the UK charts straight at number one. The following year, Sophie released Murder on the Dancefloor which was named as Europe’s most played song in 2002.
During lockdown in 2020, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Kitchen Discos, performed at home with her five sons and recorded by her husband, musician Richard Jones, became immensely popular and were watched and enjoyed by 40 million people around the world.
Joining Sophie Ellis-Bextor on the day is an already fantastic line-up comprising of The Feeling, B*Witched, Dodgy and Sandi Thom.
Existing tickets for the Saturday night of Live in Somerset remain valid for use.
