Tourism is so vital to the economy across the South West and it is great to see the activity that the Great South West Tourism Partnership is delivering, working with businesses and stakeholders to attract domestic and overseas visitors, boosting the visitor economy.”

Amanda Lumley, Chair of the Great South West Tourism Partnership and Chief Executive of Destination Plymouth said:
“We are delighted that Nick and Andrew have been able to travel to the South West to visit us today. We have had a great opportunity to share with them some of the challenges that our businesses are currently facing and also to consider how we continue to work together to make the most of opportunities going forwards. It is always good for our colleagues working at national and government level to get first-hand feedback and authentic insights from the ground upwards and we really value that.”
