Burnham-on-Sea Gig Rowing Club meet several times a week, all according to the tide.

Burnham-on-Sea Gig Rowing club was established in 2015 and has two Gigs; the ‘Brue’, a wooden competition gig, and ‘Jayne Campbell’, a fibreglass training gig.

Each gig crew is made up of 6 rowers and a cox. Rowing sessions are arranged during the week and at weekends, according to the tides.

Interest in trying it out? They are offering 3 free taster sessions. All equipment and training is provided.

They will be hosting an open day in June, date to be confirmed, keep an eye on their Facebook page for more information. People can join at any time during the year. All ages/ abilities welcome.
