Somerset has some of the largest curated collections in the UK. These range from cars exhibited at Hayes International Motor Museum at Sparkford to Naval Aircraft at the Fleet Air Arm Museum in Yeovilton. At the other end of the scale, we have a museum dedicated to the bricks and tiles for which Bridgwater was once famous and the tiny King John’s Hunting Lodge which is a Tudor house in Axbridge crammed with local artefacts.
