Two major practical questions attractions likely to have ahead of re-opening:
How should we physically present ourselves on re-opening to build public trust and confidence in visiting?
What communications messages should we put out there to build confidence and capture the public mood?
• The first flight from Bristol is scheduled to take off at 15.45 this afternoon to Belfast
• The airline plans to fly around 55% of its Bristol routes in July and 80% in August, although with a lower frequency of flights
• easyJet has introduced new measures to help ensure the safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew including enhanced aircraft cleaning and disinfection and mandatory use of face masks.
Since the outbreak of the Covid-19 crisis, KLM has been adapting its network and flight schedule in line with travel restrictions and demand. From 4th July, KLM will recommence a daily service between Bristol and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to assist with essential travel and repatriation.

Yesterday’s briefing was led by Business Secretary Alok Sharma and Sarah Albon, Chief Executive of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Sharma confirmed that retail outlets that have previously been closed will be permitted to open from next Monday 15 June.
