While many companies enjoy the Castle’s meeting facilities, corporate is not necessarily a word that you would associate with us. Each of our five private meeting rooms are individually decorated, imparting a distinct identity to your conference hire.
From our Penthouse with its stunning views across Taunton and the Quantock Hills to the magnificent Music room with its high ceilings and large windows. Each room provides a space in which people can easily learn, think and be inspired.
Our meeting rooms will be set up as you’ve requested, including equipment, and all refreshments will be delivered in a timely manner.

MUSIC ROOM
The magnificient high ceilings, panelled walls and peaceful, secure setting make it an ideal venue for top level business meetings and conferences. The Music Room can accommodate up to 100 people theatre style. This is a perfect room for networking events & awards ceremonies.
PENTHOUSE
The Castle’s Penthouse is a versatile space, ideal for both board meetings & entertaining. Situated at the top of the hotel with panoramic views of the Blackdown & Quantock Hills, the Penthouse can seat up to 12 and has its own private roof garden.
WISTERIA ROOM
The Wisteria Room offers an intimate setting with outstanding views of the Castle’s legendary wisteria during the summer months. This room can accomodate up to 30 people or be opened into the adjoining Garden Room to create space for 80 people.
GARDEN ROOM
Our Garden room offers seating for up to 50 people on its own or it can also be joined with the Wisteria room to create seating for up to 80 people, all overlooking our beautiful Norman Gardens.
SYNDICATE ROOM
With seating for 8 in a professional boardroom atmosphere, the Syndicate Room is well suited to formal meetings.
