Visit Somerset in 2019 made bold commitments to start driving changes in attitudes towards equality and diversity within Somerset, supporting all aspects of society. Visit Somerset launched the vision at its AGM with presentations from speakers working in disability and mental health fields. Whilst tentatively introducing a third important market to support the LGBTQ+ market.
A reminder that the national conference ‘Mental Health: Challenging Perceptions, Changing the Narrative’ is taking place on 5th March in Weston-super-Mare. This event is free to attend and is being held as part of the national Centres for Excellence (CfE) programme.
