Outdoors & Active is an award winning outdoor and travel store, having been voted Britain’s best independent outdoor store and also appearing in the final of Britain’s best small shop. They are specialists in footwear, clothing, rucksacks and much more, they also offer a much wider selection of products than the usual chain stores.

Over the years they have extended their range of products to include being the local Scout shop supplying uniform for Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and adult leaders, they also stock cadet and airsoft clothing and equipment. They have customers travelling all over the world all year round and are also specialists for the Duke of Edinburgh award and Ten Tors expeditions.

They also believe in good old customer service, where possible and will always aim to be as helpful and informative as possible.

Being an independent store also allows them to be very flexible with their suppliers, so if you see something that they make but cannot get it, as long as it is in stock with them they will gladly get it for you.

They have now supplied equipment for trips all over the world, Everest, Kilimanjaro, Mont blanc, Norway, South America, Ben Nevis, Snowdon, Scafell and many more !
