Hosting over 400 events per year in a beautifully restored former Edwardian cinema, Komedia is a go-to destination for a great night out in the city of Bath.

Komedia Bath was established in 2008 and community-owned since 2019, Komedia prides itself on offering something for everybody and operates two distinct performance spaces to do this.
At the heart of it all is the Main Auditorium. With high ceilings, baroque grandeur and room for 600+ people, it’s a stunning setting for full-scale live performances and also functions as Bath’s only above-ground night club venue. The Main Auditorium is also home to the award-winning Krater Comedy Club. A Saturday night fixture since Komedia first opened, the renowned comedy club brings an all-star line-up of three hilarious comics and one of the best comperes in the business to Bath every single weekend! Pre-show dining is available and all Krater Comedy Club tickets also include free club night entry to The Big Disco after the show.
Alongside this, Komedia is also very proud to run The Electric Bar – an intimate live performance space that was purpose-built to support grassroots-level music and rising comedy talent. Pop in on any given Sunday and enjoy an afternoon of free live music as part of The Electric Bar Sessions, or check out The Electric Comedy Club for a dose of brilliant local comedic talent on the last Monday of every month!
