Kilver Court and Gardens
• For the curious. For the creative. For the cultivator.
• Set behind a Victorian viaduct in Shepton Mallet, Kilver Court & Gardens is steeped in history and design. Known for its expansive gardens and rich heritage, it has recently undergone a transformation, unveiling its renewed charm.
Originally established in the 19th century as part of a model factory, the gardens were later revitalized by Herbert Showering of Babycham and Chelsea Flower Show designer George Whitelegg. In the 1990s, Roger Saul, founder of Mulberry, transformed Kilver into the brand's headquarters, restoring the gardens and opening them to the public.
Under the current stewardship of the Showering family, Kilver Court & Gardens has embraced a fresh identity, balancing its storied past with contemporary creativity. Alongside the gardens, it houses a curated selection of brands such as Mulberry, TOAST and Makers & Merchants, complemented by a café featuring seasonal dishes crafted from the site’s own organic garden produce. The venue hosts events and collaborations throughout the year.
Discover Kilver Court & Gardens, where every visit promises moments of exploration and unexpected inspiration.
