Barrow Gurney is a pretty village close to Barrow tanks, three artificial reservoirs which supply drinking water for Bristol. Public footpaths near the tanks have recently been restored and stiles have been replaced with kissing gates so access to this area is now easier.

A man-made lake in North Somerset is now a beautiful nature reserve with an
abundance of wildlife and habitats.

The Victoria Art Gallery is located in the centre of Bath, close to the famous Pulteney Bridge. Entry to permanent exhibitions is free.

Circular walk from Nether Stowey Castle to Stogursey Castle and the England Coast Path

This circular walk features in the new book Miles More Mendip, by Sue Gearing and Les Davies. From the car park, head towards the village hall entrance.

Hidden within the woods near Wraxall are small stone sculptures waiting to
be discovered by keen-eyed walkers.

Burnham-on-Sea sits at the mouth of the River Parrett and the end of the second longest strip of sand in Europe.
