North Somerset Walks

Walk along rocky paths and enjoy far-reaching views of the Somerset Levels and coast during this short climb around Bleadon Hill and Canada Coombe. Bleadon Hill is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and part of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Battery Point is the blustery headland in Portishead at the northern end of the Esplanade

Sandford is part of the Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and after a wander through woodland and a steep climb, you’re rewarded with wonderful views across this rolling countryside.

Sand Point is an extension of the Mendip Hills and walkers trekking across the peninsular will be rewarded with wonderful views across the Bristol Channel.

couple of wooden stiles. Wear
suitable footwear. Ticks are
present in this woodland so
wear long sleeves, trousers
and boots.
