Claverham, between Yatton and Cleeve, was originally a farming hamlet within the North Somerset levels. It was probably named after the clover fields which surround the village. This walk takes a leisurely stroll along the village lanes. Start at the corner of High Street and Claverham Road. The building on this corner was originally the village post office and more recently a restaurant. Go along the High Street, passing Chestnut Drive on your left and Melanie’s hairdressers and Pizza2Go on your right. Continue along this road as it turns a sharp right corner. It becomes a lane and the pavement runs out so be careful of vehicles.  Click HERE for full details and FREE PDF copy
