Known for her successful contemporary works of fiction including: The Rector’s Wife, Marrying the Mistress, Daughters in Law and City of Friends
Joanna Trollope has been writing for over thirty years and has been described as one of the most insightful chroniclers and social commentators writing fiction today.
After winning a scholarship to Oxford University, Joanna joined the Foreign Office and then became a teacher of English. She began writing ‘to fill the long spaces after the children had gone to bed’ and for many years combined her writing career with working as a teacher. Her most recently-published novel, An Unsuitable Match, was received with great acclaim in February 2018.
With the recent announcement of ‘Mum and Dad’, the upcoming novel which is due to be published in March next year, Joanna visits The Brewhouse for a special ‘in conversation’. So join us here in March to find out how she has honed her craft, to hear more about her new release, and to perhaps get your book signed!
