Celebrating Taunton and Somerset on Somerset Day with local food and drink, entertainment and more...

Delivered by the award-winning eat:Festivals whose aim is to highlight the best of the area's outstanding food and drink producers, as well as traditional crafts people, by creating a fantastic open-air event where people can enjoy delicious locally produced food and drink of Somerset.

There will be over 90 local producers including farmers market favourites such as local ales, ciders and wine, bread cakes and pies plus street food, spirits and charcuterie, plus music and street entertainers.

• Our layouts ensure we all have elbow room and space for conversation, seating and easy access 
• Our stewards will be on hand to provide advice and guidance 
• Dog friendly - in fact the whole family are welcome
• Fully accessible for buggies, scooters, pushchairs  
• Always a wide range of vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, alcohol free food & drink.  The festivals are designed to provide for all dietary choices. 
• Ethics & traceability as standard. You get to meet the makers and find out all you want to know
• A wide-range of free entertainment including DJs, buskers, strolling characters, performances and playfulness
• Always free entry - no pre-booking, reserving tickets or faffing around!

Taunton,has a strong tradition of markets and eat:Taunton will reflect this with around 90 local producers located around Taunton Minster and along Hammet Street and East Street. Scheduled to coincide with Somerset Day.

Diversions on the day will be in place in the town from 7am to 7pm and the event runs from 10 - 4pm and is free to attend.
