’Wivey’ is home to numerous shops and galleries, many still with their Victorian frontages whilst the pubs stock ales from the town’s two renowned breweries. Wiveliscombe is a former market and cloth-making town steeped in history. The 10 Parishes Festival held annually in September is a week long celebration of visual and performing arts that brings surrounding villages together to show their vibrant local talent to visitors.

Wiveliscombe, just a 15-minute drive from Taunton, is a delightful town to visit with plenty of historic buildings to admire and some excellent independent shops.
