The Watkin family first established Watkin Toys in 1940

The Watkin family first established Watkin Toys in 1940 having moved to the area after the war. The shop still remains a family business today but under the ownership of the Slocombe family. The shop is well known In Taunton and remains a much loved destination for many families. We stock a wide range of Branded Toys, Games, Models, Soft toys, Beanies etc.

Each day we receive new stock from our suppliers, so it’s always worth asking if you cannot find what you are looking for in the shop. You never know we may well have it in stock.

We are all way amazed to see where the products we sell end up. Over the years we have received a number of Photographs showing our Watkin Toys bags at their final destinations. Take a look at the pictures we have been Sent.
