Brewhouse - NEWS RELEASE

13 January 2021

There’s some fantastic comedy coming up at Taunton Brewhouse in the next two months – so you can laugh away those winter blues.

On 28 Jan at 7.30pm Shaparak Khorsandi relives the 90s in a trip down memory lane, where she found herself flying about London with hope in her heart, a tenner in her pocket and spare knickers in hear handbag.  Shaparak discovered at the age of 10 she could make people cry with laughter… and her comedy career was born! Seen on the Graham Norton Show, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross and I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here (Suitable for 14+)

Rated as a 5* comedy act by The Times, Telegraph and Independent Mark Watson is heading to the Brewhouse on 18 Feb at 7.30pm and will attempt to cram a year of pathological over thinking into an hour’ s stand-up. High observational comedy meets spiritual enquiry, as Watson realises at 40 that he is halfway through his life… (Suitable for 14+)

On 26 Feb at 7.30pm The Make-Em-Ups: Bumper Blyton roll into town in a riotous Enid Blyton parody for grown-ups.  With an award-winning cast from stage and screen including The Comedy Store and Doctor Who, the show is a comedy, music and song extravaganza, chock full on innuendo with plenty of puns.  (Suitable for 12 +)
