As part of the Taunton Live and Pride events this summer, businesses in Taunton are providing a platform for local artists to display their talents in the LoveWINdowS Trail.
Following on from the success of the Winter Trails, Go Create directors Jenny Keogh and Liz Hutchin have teamed up with Susie Thomas of Rocket & Co to put together these fun and interesting trails for you to follow.
Continuing the Love Wins theme, well-known local artists and community groups are producing some amazing art on 20 large fibreglass hearts to be situated in the town centre. The Follow Your Heart Trail will be officially launched on 12th July.
The Yarnbombers are also back! The theme of Love Wins will be manifest in the clever, colourful creations which raise a smile as you go around the town. Their main feature is a spectacular creation on the front of Market House which makes a real focal point in the town centre.
A huge amount of work, dedication and commitment goes into creating and arranging these trails and events and we applaud those involved for their devotion to promoting art and creativity in Taunton.
Also this week, we see the inauguration of the Rainbow Path, a 62m colourful feature in Goodland Gardens which is a vivid symbol of a desire to embrace diversity and inclusivity in our community.
You can pick up a free trail map from Taunton Visitor Centre and stay up to date by following Taunton Trails on social media platforms.
