Puxton Park Farm Shop and Butchers

Hosting a superb range of seasonal fruit and vegetables, freshly baked bread, cooking ingredients, off-licence and confectionery, our farm shop food emporium is bursting with the finest quality, locally sourced goods.

We are passionate about supporting local suppliers and carefully select of all of our groceries from quality firms within a 20-mile radius. You can therefore be guaranteed a fantastic choice of tasty, fresh goods.

Whether you prefer to cook from scratch or need convenience food made with top quality ingredients by skilled local producers, you will find something hearty and delicious to make in the comfort of your own home.

There is also a well-stocked gift shop for souvenirs, toys, books and games if you are looking to buy presents for the children in your life. From Moshi Monsters gardening equipment, or Tractor Ted clothes and tableware to official JCB models or Peppa Pig musical instruments, there’s something to capture every kid’s tastes and passions.

The butchery at Puxton sells traditionally-reared farm fresh meat, poultry and game. Our friendly, skilled butchers can offer advice and will ensure that your meat is prepared to your exact requirements.

We are proud to say that all of our pork, lamb and at least a third of our beef is supplied our very own Puxton farm, and we make all our own award winning sausages and burgers on site. This means that most of our produce has zero food miles. The remainder of the meat and free-range poultry is fully traceable and sourced from farmers who have been specially selected by the family for their high standards of breeding and feeding.

The butchers at Puxton have seasonal offerings throughout the year, whether it’s barbeque packs in the summer, or free-range, bronze turkeys for Christmas. Watch our Facebook page for weekly offers, or contact the Butchers direct on 01934 523507 to see what’s available.

You can also book a Butchers Masterclass and learn how to prepare joints like a traditional butcher. Enjoy two and a half hours of one to one time with our master butchers and take home two steaks to enjoy when you’re finished!

The deli-counter offers a wide range of west country cheese, including Wookey Hole cave-aged cheddar, Somerset Brie, Colston Basset Stilton, Cornish Yarg and Draycott Blue from Time’s Past Dairy. Then of course, we offer Gorwydd Caerphilly, winner of the super gold medal at the 2016 World Cheese Awards, which is made on-site using milk from our dairy herd.
