Ashton Cottages
Ashton Cottages are two cosy holiday retreats designed with couples and families in mind. We are set just above the stunning Somerset Levels, looking out to the Mendip hills.
Both cottages offer modern country open plan living, with two bedrooms each and private gardens with patio and BBQ’s. With their own off road parking for two cars and a wonderful field for picnicking in and family fun, the cottages make for a great base for exploring the beautiful Somerset countryside.
On our doorstep is the Historic quaint village of Wedmore which dates back to King Alfred the great. The village boasts pretty tearooms and country shops. Also on our doorstep is the village of Cheddar with Cheddar Gorge offering it famous caves, many shops, pubs and tearooms too.
In easy reach we have the City of Wells with its world famous cathedral and the Bishops Palace, Wookey Hole caves, Glastonbury Tor and the Abbey Ruins, Bath, Bristol, Burnham-on-Sea, Weston-Super-Mare and Longleat are all close by.

Road Directions
From the M5 (jnc 22) take the A38 north (signed for Weston) for approx 0.5 mile, then turn right, by the Fox & Goose Pub, signposted Mark. After 2 miles turn left at the crossroads and travel through Mark and Blackford (B3139). Stay on this road for 4 miles, taking you into Wedmore.
In the centre of Wedmore turn left to Cheddar (B3151). We are approx 1 mile out of Wedmore, through Cocklake, on the left. Look out for the signpost
