The George Hotel enjoys a central location in the market town of Frome, surrounded by the stunning Somerset countryside. We’ve got 28 en suite bedrooms and a strong reputation for good home-cooked food (including a gluten-free menu).

Accessibility: Please note, none of our rooms are on the ground floor and accessed by stairs, we do not have a lift.
Breakfast options: We offer a complimentary continental breakfast and hot breakfast options. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we will not be offering our continental selection as a buffet but will ask for your orders.
In-room hospitality: We provide a hospitality tray in each room (kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits), which is refreshed daily. We also provide towels, toiletries, ironing board and iron and a hairdryer.
Pet-friendly rooms: We have 4 pet-friendly rooms; 1 Double, 1 Twin, and 2 Singles.
- Guests travelling with pets must check prior to booking if there is availability.
- Please do not arrive with unannounced pets as accommodation is not guaranteed.
- There is a surcharge of £10 per pet, per night.
Car parking: Our car park is situated behind The George Hotel. Enter Cork Street at the side of the hotel, then turn right at Westway Cinema, down the ramp. Drive in-between the concrete pillars at the bottom, where you will find our underground parking spaces. The light will turn on as you enter.
Please note that spaces are limited, and we are unable to reserve any. There is a 2 metre height restriction and a tight turn to enter the car park so please take care when entering and exiting.
PLEASE NOTE – COVID-19: We have reduced the amount of soft furnishings, printed communications, hospitality tray items, laundry and toiletries in our rooms, to ensure minimal risk of exposure. If you require any top ups or additional items, we are happy to supply these upon request.
