The Anchor Inn is a rural riverside pub and inn with six letting bedrooms overlooking beautiful surroundings shaped by the river Exe. Exebridge is situated on the southern tip of Exmoor near the village of Dulverton. The lower bar at the front of the inn once entertained the celebrated English novelist R.D. Blackmore in the 19th century and features in his classic Lorna Doone. Overlooking the riverside garden is our upper bar and dining room; serving home made food which takes advantage of Somerset and Devonshire's excellent local produce. Meals are freshly prepared to order and cooked over charcoal to give extra flavour. We also welcome well-behaved dogs. We have six letting bedrooms available to cater for a variety of requirements, from families to individuals. All stays include a cooked Exmoor breakfast.
