Bedrooms showcase commissioned artwork of popular areas of the town including the Willow Man, Corn Exchange and the Brick and Tile Museum, to name a few. This local theme is further enhanced through graphic shower panels, featuring St Johns Church, Town Bridge and the famous Bridgwater Carnival.
As a four star hotel it offers various bedroom options; choose from a classic double, a superior king, a privilege room with those little extra’s like robes, slippers and a Dualit coffee pod machine or a balcony room. Some rooms can be tripled or combine in to a suite, ideal for families. If visiting for work then bedrooms have a workspace area and the convince of USB ports. The restaurant with plush leather and velour seating is a sophisticated and relaxed setting where guests can enjoy delicious food from a carefully planned and professional menu, which champions the use of seasonal produce. Alongside the main menu the hotel now serves a vegetarian and vegan menu, and a Mini Moos menu for our younger visitors. A scrumptious Afternoon Tea menu is also served daily.
The Mercure Bridgwater has two modern meeting rooms located on the ground floor, with integrated projector, screen and bean to cup coffee machine. With flexible pricing tailored to groups’ requirements The Quays and The Foundry provide the perfect location for small to medium sized business meetings and events. The Foundry is also an ideal venue for private dining for up to 25 guests.
Those looking to explore the area can find the Somerset Coast, Quantock Hills, Somerset Levels, and the popular towns of Glastonbury, Wells and Dunster with its charming castle, all within close proximity. Guests can easily have a pleasant meander round the historic streets of Bridgwater taking in the museum, Brick and Tile Museum, St Marys Church, The River Parrett which connects the town to the England's coastal path or maybe catch a show at the local theatre.
