Foxes Hotel is a very special place. Delightfully situated on the seafront of the beautiful seaside town of Minehead it is the UK’s only training hotel for young people with learning disabilities.

Nestled between the hills of Exmoor and the sea we are in an ideal location. There are many activities on our doorstep including the heritage West Somerset Steam Railway and the start of the South West Coastal Path.

ACCESSIBILITY

Foxes Hotel has a visitor car park with an access ramp to the automatically opening main door that leads to Hotel Reception. This makes access for wheelchairs and mobility scooters (both accompanied and unaccompanied) – plus those who don’t like stairs – very easy.

We also have the following facilities:

• A four passenger ‘speaking’ lift to all guest floors, including the dining room.
• Our guest bedrooms are spacious and suitable for wheelchair users, some have their own ‘drive-in’ shower room.
• A hearing loop is installed in the Hotel lounge and bar.
• Visitor toilet facilities are all accessible for wheelchair users and fitted with appropriate grip rails and emergency alarm cords.

Assistance dogs are always welcome.
