All bedrooms are individually designed and many feature period antique furniture while others have original four poster beds.
The luxurious Cathedral Suite has panoramic views of Wells Cathedral, Wells, Somerset and boasts a dramatic bedroom furnished in a rich palette of purple and gold. Guests can indulge themselves in the magnificent sitting room sipping on complimentary Champagne and pamper themselves in the grand free standing brass bath.
Swan Mews provides a peaceful retreat, ideal for small families or individuals on business. These self-contained apartments are situated in the middle of Wells, amongst a host of shops and restaurants.
The Head Chef and kitchen brigade are proud to support Somerset suppliers. Menus change with the seasons. Guests can choose from an all day menu packed with family favourites or enjoy a more formal 3 course dinner in the oak-panelled restaurant. The restaurant is open for lunch 12noon – 2pm (12.30pm – 2pm Sundays) and for dinner from 7pm – 9.30pm.
During the summer, Swan Terrace, with its incredible cathedral view are open for al fresco dining and drinking.
The hotel is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies and offers private dining. This former posting house has been attracting guests for 600 years.
