Whitehouse Farm Cottages

Description

This hidden gem is set in farmland to the South of the beautiful Mendip Hills. Somerset is renowned for its diversity of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Bordered by the sea and several West Country counties, this tranquil escape will fill you with peace and serenity.

So many places to visit from great country houses with fabulous gardens to cider makers with tasting rooms, from a walk in the hills to a stroll by the sea, all on the doorstep of this wonderful hide-away.

The cottage welcomes you with a basket of goodies and milk from the cows just at the end of the lane where you will find a farm shop. There are several in the area including a smokery with a café and restaurant, where the smoked fish is out of this world yummy.

There are three spas within five minutes drive of the cottage with some great treatments, gymnasiums, massage, swimming and helpful staff. A visit to Bath is a must and Wells is only 14 miles from the cottage with the Bishops Palace and gardens and interesting shops and restaurants.

So many things to see, or just chill in the al fresco dining area outside. The firepit in the garden is great to sit around and look at the stars at night and hear the crackle of logs on the fire.

We do welcome one dog which we do expect to be well behaved.
