Dog Friendly Accommodation in Somerset

An historic 17th Century coaching inn situated in the village of Kilve on the edge of the Quantock Hills.

The Hood is a family run inn steeped in history, on the route of the Coleridge Way and close to the Jurassic coastline and beaches of Somerset. 

We are open for Lunch, Dinner & Sunday Roast. Children are always welcome & the bar/snug areas are dog friendly. 

We also have a large garden which is dog friendly and has a purpose built children's area. You can also enjoy a game of boules or table tennis. 

Sunday Lunch: We cherish a good family meal and Sunday Roasts are just that. Enjoy a selection of roast meats with all the trimmings. 

All our food is locally sourced, freshly cooked and lovingly prepared!

We also have nine superior stylish and comfortable rooms to let with free wifi and high speed internet. 
Based on the edge of the beautiful Quantock Hills and Exmoor National Park, we are ideally placed for walkers. The South West Coast Path runs right past us on Kilve beach which is part of the spectaular Jurassic coast. Kilve is a perfect location for collecting ammonites and reptile remains. The beach is also ideal for rock pooling, set in tranquil surroundings and ideal for all the family to enjoy.
