The Georgian Manor in Frome is perfectly situated to give you the best of both worlds: it’s located just a pleasant ten minute walk from the vibrant town centre of Frome, and a short drive from scenic Somerset rambles and inspiring cultural attractions. The ideal decadent retreat for a cultural break or romantic getaway.

The space
The apartment is a glorious mix of old and new styles, decorated throughout with distinctive statement artwork and ornaments, while retaining the grand magnificence of the eighteenth century building. The original window shutters, cast iron radiators and ornate plasterwork echo the history of the property, while touches of modern luxury such as chandeliers, ornate mirrors and a roll top bath lend an air of opulent decadence.

Enter the Georgian Manor through the grand entrance hall, or direct from your private parking area to the rear. The apartment is laid out on one level with a spacious open plan living area, which is bathed in natural light thanks to the double-aspect floor to ceiling sash windows and balcony doors.

A particular highlight of the Georgian Manor is the ornate wrought iron balcony, accessed through the patio doors beyond the seating area. The balcony overlooks the communal garden area, and is the perfect place to savour a croissant and coffee for breakfast, or a Somerset sunset at dusk. A compact and well-equipped kitchen to your right boasts an integrated breakfast bar, cooker and washing machine. Chat to your friends or partner relaxing on the leather sofas while you rustle up a Frome feast of local produce.

Beyond the kitchen area you will find a classically decorated bathroom, complete with Grecian-style floor tiles and a sumptuous roll top bath. And then finally, the bedroom awaits at the front of the house. After a restorative night’s sleep on the kingsize bed, in Egyptian cotton sheets on a luxurious Vispring mattress , you will wake to a room bathed in glorious sunshine from the grand sash windows. Guest access
The Georgian Manor is accessible via a few stone steps from ground level at the front door. The entire property is on one level, and is wheelchair accessible and suitable for guests with limited mobility. Accompanying guests are welcome to book The Luxury Georgian Apartment, which is located in the same building, which has an entrance just a few steps from that of the Georgian Manor.

For your comfort and peace of mind we are spending an extra hour at each property prior to arrival, to ensure all touch surfaces are disinfected in line with government recommendations (see here). All sheets and towels are laundered thoroughly at high temperatures with quality non-biological laundry soap.
