With Pumpkin Fest on the horizon, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm welcomed back Luke and his giant pumpkins. After giving Shaka, the African Elephant, a 14stone pumpkin in 2019, Luke made the decision to grow three pumpkins for each of the Elephants at Noah’s Ark in 2020.
The Bishop’s Palace receives lifeline grant from Government’s £1.57bn Culture Recovery Fund
We are very pleased to announce that Glastonbury Abbey has received funding thanks to the government’s Culture Recovery Fund, #HereForCulture. Here for Culture is a movement that unites the public, government and cultural organisations in support of our fantastic cinemas, theatres, music venues, museums, galleries and heritage sites.
On Sunday 11th October 2020 a special Evensong service was held in Wells Cathedral to give thanks for 800 years of The Bishop’s Palace.
