Getting out in nature is known to be good for our physical and emotional health but reports are showing that children are not getting out and about enough. A report by The National Trust states that children spend so little time outdoors that they are unfamiliar with some of our commonest wild creatures, and only 36% of children under the age of 16 have visited the countryside.
