SAW Open Studios is a multi-sensory adventure at Rockaway Park

10 Sep 2021

Rockaway Park in Temple Cloud will be hosting 40+ artists, 5+ gigs and over 15 workshops for their Somerset Arts Works Open Studios weekends this year.
Everyone is invited to explore their unique venue and work by a diverse range of exciting and original artists, plus music and workshops, for free! With bookable workshops and gigs happening too.
SAW Open Studios at Rockaway Park will be open over the September weekends of 17th to 19th and 24th to 26th.

An extraordinary venue full of art and music all year round, for SAW Open Studios, Rockaway Park (venue 158) will be hosting a wide range of art and artists in settings from a community garden, to a railway carriage to a more traditional gallery space.

Whether you've visited them before, or not, they guarantee a feast for your eyes, ears, mind and, your body, as their vegan cafe will be open too!

Mark Wilson, the driving force behind Rockaway Park, explained his inspiration, "At the core of our disused quarry is a belief that collaboration and collectivism, sharing work, vision and ideas are how all great creations take hold and manifest. We create, and support, work with a social conscious that challenges the system and offers a new vision of what is possible. And have a lot of fun while we're doing it!"
